This coming Wednesday (21st November) is the Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades presentation night. We will be celebrating the end of another great year. The Brigades would love to see you there.
It starts at 6:30pm and will go for around an hour.

Volunteering at Gungahlin Uniting in 2019? Fill in your preferences and return by 7th November
Carrie, on behalf of Girls’ Brigade, will be collecting items for Share the Dignity’s – It’s in the Bag appeal. It’s in the Bag provides women and girls in need with a bag of personal items including shampoo, sanitary items, toothbrushes and toothpaste and so on.
If you are interested in donating anything, including used handbags in good condition, please leave them in the collection box in the foyer.

As you are no doubt aware, the ACT now has a Container Refund Scheme. Brigades are very happy to return eligible containers on your behalf. You can place them in a box that will be placed in the foyer, or give them directly to Bruce, Liz or Carrie.
Boys’ Brigade will use their part of the returns to help pay for the older boys to attend National Camps and Leadership Courses. Girls’ Brigade will put theirs towards paying the significantly increased rent at the Salvation Army.
