As a congregation we are seeking a new Treasurer for our church. The Treasurer oversees the big picture of our finances, prepares and presents our budget, in consultation with the Church Council makes decisions about our financial directions and is a member of the Church Council.
The congregation employs Kate Morse as our bookkeeper to do the weekly payments, manage invoices, oversee our accounts and MYOB, prepare our quarterly BAS and print a monthly financial report for the Church Council. You don’t have to be a banker or accountant to be the Treasurer, but simply have an interest in such matters, a willingness to attend to financial matters and build up the congregation in love and faith as a member of the Church Council.
