This week at Gungahlin Uniting…
Today is the 2nd. Sunday of the month. This means that today we all stay together as one congregation for the whole of worship. We also share in communion; (the bread and wine as Jesus shared with his disciples at the Last Supper). Everyone who is with us today is welcome to come forward and received the bread and wine as an expression of their faith. Following worship we have morning tea and a light BBQ lunch – Please stay and join with us!

Sunday Evenings in Lent @ Gungahlin Uniting.
The first Sunday in Lent is 26th. February. Lent is the period of 40 days before Easter. Throughout Lent, each Sunday you are invited to a Bible Conversation in which we will simply discuss the Gospel reading for that Sunday. The Bible Conversation is from 5-6pm. Following this, if you wish, please stay for sandwiches and a cup of tea – please bring a plate if you are able. Then from 7-8pm there will be a new opportunity to worship in a creative, contemporary, informal way. Worship will be on the Sunday’s of 26th. February, 11th, 18th, 25th. March. Everyone is welcome.

Welcome to Gungahlin Uniting Church for the year ahead!
(a few words from the Minister – Rev. Mark)

Welcome to everyone who is with us today. If you are new, or have been a part of this congregation for longer, a warm welcome to you all. At Gungahlin Uniting we seek to be inclusive of all people and this is reflected in the diversity of the congregation. We are made up of many people of all ages, backgrounds, different languages, nationalities and theology. Part of the richness of this congregation is welcoming each other, talking to one another, and finding out where people have come from to be here at this time in their life!

Because of our diversity and the task we have of being church in creative and relevant ways, each Sunday at Gungahlin Uniting is slightly different.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.

Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community.  You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.
