Palm Sunday Rally is a time for the community to rally, a practice that harks to the story of the march into Jerusalem and is held all over the country. The Rally gathers people of different cultures, faiths and communities to remember the plight of refugees and call on our leaders to act with greater compassion, honesty & responsibility.
Meet Sunday at Garema Place- 1pm
If you are visiting or new to Gungahlin Uniting in the past 6 months please come along to a “Welcome” afternoon on 25th March at 3pm. This will be a relaxed time to get to know others, find out more about activities at GUCCC, and take a tour of the food pantry and garden. Families and friends are welcome, afternoon tea will be provided and there will be toys and activities for the children.
An RSVP will help with our planning but you can also just turn up on the day. Contact Heather on firstname.lastname@example.org
Our first social activity for the year is Friday 9th March – 6.30pm. You are invited to come along to Darren and Holly’s place for a meal.
Burgers (meat/vegetarian) and buns provided, please bring along something to share (drinks, nibbles, a salad or dessert). It would be good to let us know if you will be there; please RSVP to Heather.
Hope to see you then!
