People from a number of churches around Canberra share visits with people at the Alexander Maconochie Centre. Female volunteers are particularly needed to visit with the female inmates and also need a coordinator. The male group is coordinated by Richard Scott at Canberra City Uniting Church. There is a schedule of visits for two consecutive weeks (in 3 hour blocks) then a 6 week break (Fridays for females and Sunday afternoons for males).
