Beyond Festival: September 30 – October 3 (October Long Weekend)

September 2, 2016 by Church Office

Beyond is an important festival because it brings the most incredible artists together with some of Australia’s most passionate and respected humanitarians and justice advocates – combining head and heart – in order to celebrate, educate and equip us to develop a more welcoming, inclusive and just nation.

This year Megan Washington, Prof Gillian Triggs, Lior, Tim Costello and loads of others are coming together and we’d really like you to come too.

The Beyond Team have been kind enough to offer a select group access to a discount code to help get new friends to the festival. The code is UNLEASHED.  Follow the links from Beyond Festival. When you go to the ticket checkout you can enter this code and it will give you a $40 discount to this year’s Beyond Festival.  This is available until the 19th of September.

See Liz or Bruce to talk through any more details or if you’d like to think through some of the logistics stuff like travel and accommodation etc.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.

We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre
108 The Valley Avenue

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
