Christmas Worship
Christmas Eve – 9.30pm
Christmas Day – 9.30am
All welcome!

Gungahlin Community Christmas Carols
Last year for the first time we joined with the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish and Salvation Army for a BBQ and Community Carols. TONIGHT, Sunday the 18th. December, you are invited to join this community event in the paddock adjacent to the Uniting Church. If it is raining we will be inside (as we were last year!!!)

Mark’s Holidays
Mark will be on holidays throughout January! Swimming! Sipping Coffee! Sleeping! Camping! If you have any needs in this time please contact, Shirley Williams, or Margaret and Ron Reeson.

Volunteers for 2012
Our Church is still looking for a few volunteers for 2012.

  • Oasis
Our primary school aged Sunday group – needs more leaders and helpers. If you are interested please speak with Mark or Jenelle.
  • Paint and Play
Over the past 3 years our congregation has jointly co-ordinated the Paint and Play group that meets in the Harrison Park. This group is for children and their parents and often has up to 30-50 children. In 2012 our church will not be as involved as we have been before, due to our need for two more key leaders. However, we have been asked by Gungahlin Regional Community Services, who will be running Paint and Play, if we would have volunteers just to turn up and talk with people. If you would like to discuss this idea, as a way to be involved in the community, then please speak with Mark.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.

Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community.  You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
