Blue Christmas
6pm, Sunday December 22
A quiet, contemplative service, an alternative to the more traditional Christmas gatherings especially for people who find Christmas difficult or who are struggling while others are caught up in celebrating.
Many people find Christmas difficult, many who are coping with loss or pain, grief or hardship.
A Blue Christmas Service is a safe place where we hear the story of the baby born to a young couple in the backwater of town, where we are reminded of the love of God and how god meets us in the pain and grief of our own everyday lives.
