Advent at Gungahlin Uniting

21/11/2015 by Church Office

An Advent booklet has been prepared for everyone at GUC who would like to have small opportunities for reflection each day throughout the season. These will be given out, beginning next Sunday. Each day in Advent has a short reading, a reflection thought, and a brief prayer. As part of this there will be two opportunities for us to ponder Advent as a group. The booklet is called, God with Humanity!

  • First Sunday Converse and Café – Sunday 6th December, 6pm, followed by a meal at a local café for anyone who would like to join.
  • Sunday 13th December, 5pm, followed by a bring and share meal, led by Rowan Ford.

The information for both these group conversations is printed on the inside of your reflection booklet.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.

Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community.  You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.
