  • Please give thanks and celebrate with us the Girls’ Brigade which is going so well. There are forty girls again this year. May they continue.

For our World: Brazil
Pray for:

  • Indigenous peoples who have lived on the land for thousands of years, but whose ways of life have been threatened or ended in the name of development and greed.
  • The hundreds of thousands of children who are forced to live and work on the streets; that they may know your gentle touch and love.
  • An end to political violence, torture and brutality by police and others who are charged with the well-being and safety of the people.
  • Landless peasants who struggle to make a life for themselves and their children.
  • Respect for human rights, so that no one can deny others their basic liberty with impunity.

RSS Bible Gateway’s Verse of the Day

  • 1 Corinthians 15:20-22
“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.”

About GUC

We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.

Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community.  You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
