  • We pray for those burdened by the demands of consuming at Christmas.
  • We pray for the Gungahlin Community Carols and BBQ on 19th. December
  • We pray for our own Christmas Eve and Christmas Day worship and for Mark as he prepares.

For Presbytery & the wider church: Crookwell Congregations

  • Carol’s in the Park on Sunday 19th December and Christmas services

  • Leaders, to govern wisely on behalf of all their people, and to address underlying problems of ethnic strife and the unequal distribution of wealth through non-violent means.
  • Rebuilding and healing in Guinea-Bissau as it recovers from civil war.
  • Those from Cape Verde who are unable to make a living in their home country and must live and work abroad.
  • All who suffer the effects of water shortages and long-term drought.
  • An end to discrimination on the basis of religion or ethnicity.
  • Refugees who seek shelter and safety in The Gambia and for those who work to meet their needs.
  • The environment, particularly areas that are subject to overgrazing, over fishing, desertification and soil erosion.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.

Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community.  You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
