Each week in Advent and on Christmas Day we light a candle in our Advent Wreath. The wreath is simply a circle of green leaves and small flowers and can be arranged however you like. If you would like to arrange our Advent Wreath on one week then please put your name on the list in the foyer. The can wreath is supplied!
An Advent booklet has been prepared for everyone at GUC who would like to have small opportunities for reflection each day throughout the season. These will be given out, beginning next Sunday. Join us for lunch to celebrate the start of Advent. After Church on Sunday 29 November we’ll gather together as a community to share lunch. Bring a dish to share – either a main or dessert – nominate which type on the lists in the foyer.
We’d love for as many folk as possible to join us, so put the date on your calendar. Speak with Vanessa or Elizabeth for more details.
The Last Spice Kids lunch for 2015 will be held on 22nd November, 12 noon at Ginger and Spice.
Come and meet with friends for conversation, friendship and good food. All adults welcome. The more who come the better the day will be.
We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.
Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community. You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.
In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
We worship at the Gungahlin Uniting Church & Community Centre.
