The annual weekend for Kairos Outside for Women (KOW) is happening this weekend. Our own Margaret Reeson is there as a leader. Please pray for Margaret, the other leaders and the women who are attending. KOW is a Christian ministry for women who have been impacted by having someone close to them who has spent time in jail. These may be mothers or sisters, wives, girl friends or daughters, and each of them has struggled with what this has meant for their family.
Our Church at Prayer…
Inviting you to think about our own church community, the wider church, the world!
- We pray for the preparation for the Billabong Big Break weekend away and for our leaders, Mark, Rowan & Margaret, Heather and those who will be attending.
- This week we pray for Greenhills Camp and Conference Centre, for the board and staff as they plan for future developments.
- This week we pray Aotearoa, New Zealand and Australia. For an end to discrimination against refugees and migrants seeking a better, safer life.

KAIROS OUTSIDE FOR WOMEN (KOW)
The 17th annual weekend for Kairos Outside for Women (KOW) will be held at Greenhills Conference Centre, near the Cotter River, on 12-14 August. KOW is a Christian ministry for women who have been impacted by having someone close to them who has spent time in jail. These may be mothers or sisters, wives, girlfriends or daughters, and each of them has struggled with what this has meant for their family. A large team of women from many different Christian churches in our region will be there to facilitate the program and to support the guests with prayer, love and thoughtful listening. This year, Margaret Reeson from GUC is a member of the team and will be happy to talk to you about it.
