Palm Sunday events for Refugees are taking place on Sunday 9th April all around the country. People from all walks of life, community organisations and faith groups gather each year to remember the plight of refugees and to call upon governments to act with greater responsibility and compassion.

This year’s gathering will be at 1pm, next Sunday 9th April, in Civic Square.

All are welcome to gather.

Worship on Sunday 2nd April

March 27, 2017 by Church Office

9:30am All Age Worship
Rev. Mark Faulkner

Bible Readings
Ezekiel 37:1-14; Psalm 130
Romans 8:6-11; John 11:1-45

This Sunday….. daylight saving ends! So don’t forget to put your clocks back one hour and sleep in! And then…. I look forward to seeing you at 9.30am!

Jenny Batt will lead our first half all age worship while I meet for breakfast with Billabong. After morning tea Oasis will meet with Ngarie and Priscilla while the message this week is on both Ezekiel 37: 1-14 & John 11: 1-45.

At 6pm we have First Sunday Converse & Café. This is a time of reflection, listening to music, prayer and faith conversation. Following, for any who wish, we eat at a local restaurant.

Of course all are welcome both to come along and to invite others.

Peace.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.

We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.
