Our Church at Prayer…

June 10, 2016 by Church Office

Inviting you to think about our own church community, the wider church, the world!

  • We pray for all those participating in the Baptism & Reaffirmation Conversation group that will meet for the first time next week.
  • This week we pray for Alpine Congregation, Jindabyne that the church may be a witness in their community.
  • This week we pray for Angola and Mozambique. For children who have never known peace, who have been traumatised and victimised by war.

Beyond Music Festival

June 10, 2016 by Church Office

It used to be called Black Stump, but now it is a little different, a little closer and a little better! Beyond is full of diverse music, good food, thought provoking speakers, enticing stalls, good coffee, and nature. Held from 30th September to 3rd October at Greenhills near the cotter (20 minutes’ drive away) this is a great opportunity to gather and relax. Over the past few years Gungahlin Uniting has had a group who have camped together while enjoying the freedom to do their own thing.

Tickets are on sale now online!

About GUC

We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.

We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre
108 The Valley Avenue
Gungahlin, ACT, 2913

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
