Join us for Easter Egg Painting !
Sunday 20th March – Palm Sunday
Everyone is welcome to stay on after church on Sunday 20th March for a church community craft activity. We will meet in the multipurpose room and be painting and decorating eggs to celebrate Easter. All ages welcome and no experience needed – you can make it as simple or as creative as you would like. We will supply all the equipment (paints, brushes, eggs) and there will be some light lunch to share – scrambled eggs, fried eggs, egg-dipped French toast… and some fresh fruit. If you can bring along an egg cup to hold your egg as you decorate it that could be helpful.
Hope you can join us,
Carina and Heather
Gardener’s Support Fund
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).
The passage above is from the resurrection account in John. Mary, seeing the body of Jesus gone, doesn’t recognise Jesus when she finally sees him because she thinks he is the gardener.
As part of our Food Garden work, we have talked about employing a “Gardener”. The Gardener will look after our church grounds and also help take care of our Food Garden.
