Welcome to Gungahlin Uniting Church
Gungahlin Uniting Church is a Christian Community for all people. All people irrespective of age, nationality, theology, tradition or way of life are welcome as we seek to nurture faith and be about the way of Christ. Each week we usually have morning tea in the middle of worship followed by Oasis for primary aged children and Billabong for our youth. In the main worship space after morning tea there are readings and a message and a time of prayer for others. This is the way we usually gather over any month…

Welcome to Gungahlin Uniting Church
God draws close to us in life in many different ways – we hope that in this community you have the opportunity to ponder God’s presence and find encouragement and peace. Everyone is welcome; this is not a club of like-minded people, but a place that reflects the breadth of humanity and the diversity of opinion and experience. At Gungahlin Uniting we usually have morning tea in the middle of worship, followed by Oasis for primary aged children, Billabong for youth, and readings with a message in the main worship space for everyone else.
Food Pantry Funding Update
When we first drew up the costs most everything was largely unknown as it always is when you are in mission and construction! We expected our costs to be around $39,737, but they came in $321.38 less at $39,415.62. We expected our donations to be $27,970, but instead we have raised, with the support of many others, $38,450. The bottom line is $965.62 less than we have raised. This is simply wonderful! Thankyou to the congregation also as we donated 1/3 of the money needed for this mission and community support. Please continue to pray for our congregation and the work of the pantry.

Welcome to Gungahlin Uniting Church
Every week at this church there are new people as well as those who have been here for many years. There are young and old. There are many different traditions and cultures. Together we make a Christian community. Welcome to everyone.
Today our Minister meets with the Billabong (Youth) in the first half of worship while worship is led by Margaret Reeson. Then we will have morning tea in the middle of worship. After morning tea we all meet back in the main worship space. Today there will be no Oasis group (primary aged children).
With Love to the World
The latest edition of With Love to the World is now available in the foyer. With Love to the World is a short daily devotional guide with a reading, reflection and prayers suggestion for each day of the week. The readings each week match the readings we often use in church on the Sunday. If you would like a copy feel free to take one. If you would like to put $4 in the box next to this month’s edition that would be welcomed.
