March 23, 2018 by Church Office

Palm Sunday Rally is a time for the community to rally, a practice that harks to the story of the march into Jerusalem and is held all over the country. The Rally gathers people of different cultures, faiths and communities to remember the plight of refugees and call on our leaders to act with greater compassion, honesty & responsibility.

Welcome Afternoon Tea

March 2, 2018 by Church Office

If you are visiting or new to Gungahlin Uniting in the past 6 months please come along to a “Welcome” afternoon on 25th March at 3pm. This will be a relaxed time to get to know others, find out more about activities at GUCCC, and take a tour of the food pantry and garden. Families and friends are welcome, afternoon tea will be provided and there will be toys and activities for the children.

An RSVP will help with our planning but you can also just turn up on the day. Contact Heather on community@gungahlinuniting.org

About GUC

We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.

We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre
108 The Valley Avenue
Gungahlin, ACT, 2913

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
