Lent Event

February 23, 2018 by Church Office

lent-event
During Lent, we are invited to support Uniting World through Lent Event. In 2018 the theme is: TOGETHER We change the World with a focus on the Pacific.

We can choose to live simply during this period and contribute to resources to support advocacy against violence, skills for women and help in preparing for natural disasters. This year funds will also support rebuilding following Cyclone Gita. Visit www.lentevent.com.

Before Christmas, this congregation sent $750 to Uniting World from the Everything in Common Gift stall. THANK YOU!

Thank You Gungahlin

December 30, 2017 by Church Office

Many thanks for the farewell which congregation chair Chris Dodd gave last Sunday. And many thanks for the gifts. We have such good memories of our time here and greatly appreciate the hospitality which is so characteristic of Gungahlin as an inclusive Christian community. May you be richly blessed as you continue in mission and ministry in the coming days.

Grace and Peace – Jonathan and Janeen

About GUC

We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.

We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre
108 The Valley Avenue

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
