Included in this week’s bulletin is the Act for Peace: East Africa Famine Appeal from the World Council of Churches. Dawn Bushs’ husband, Rich is taking part in the Ration challenge. He has to live on a ration that Syrian Refugees in Jordan would have for a week.

- We give thanks for Jonathan Barker’s willingness and availability to be our Supply Minister from August. We pray for our JNC (Joint Nominating Committee) as they work towards a new Minister for Gungahlin Uniting Church.
- This week we pray for the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture.
- This week we pray for Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland; for continued healing and rebuilding of these nations that have been torn apart on the basis of race.

- We pray for our congregation, Church Council and JNC as we continue discussions towards selecting a new minister for GUC.
- This week we pray for Tuggeranong Congregation. Give thanks for the many outreach programs actively happening in this community and the varied ways the church community serve.
- This week we pray for Indian Ocean Islands: Comoros, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles. Give thanks for the religious freedom in Madagascar and the increase of church attendance due to mission outreach.
