First Sunday Converse and Café is a gentle time of worship here on the first Sunday of each month beginning at 6pm. There is no long sermon, no singing, no patter, but music, prayer and Bible conversation. For any who wish we follow with a meal at a local restaurant. All are welcome here tonight for this time together Sunday 5th Feb. at 6pm!
Open Conversation about Mustard Seed Uniting Food Pantry and Garden
Each week our food pantry is open and demand is growing. We have established a strong food support resource which now includes our Food Garden. On Sunday 19th March @ 3.30pm here at GUCCC there will be an open conversation about how we are going, including some information on how things operate, the finances, the food garden and where we are heading for the future.
This conversation is open to anyone who would like to come along. Food Pantry volunteers and Church Council members are encouraged to attend. Please mark it up and come along.
Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades
Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades are part of Gungahlin Uniting Church ministry to children and young people. They provide fun, challenge and adventure for boys and girls of all backgrounds, abilities and interests. Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades are interdenominational Christian youth organisations that operate in 60 countries worldwide and have been running for over 100 years.
Our Brigades start again for 2017 on Wednesday 8th February at 6:30pm.
Men’s and Women’s Breakfasts
There are two breakfasts coming up at Siren Bar and Restaurant in the heart of Gungahlin.
- Women’s Breakfast on Saturday 11th February at 9am
- Men’s Breakfast on Saturday 18th February at 9am.
Please feel free to come along and begin the day over a nice meal in good company. All welcome.

- We pray for our teachers and students who return to school, college, university, to begin a new year.
- We pray for those who are elderly and struggling with their health at this time.
- This week we pray for Christian Education in Schools. Praise God this service is provided in government public schools, and give thanks for another year as children seek, question and explore God.
- This week we pray for Andorra, Italy, Malta, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Vatican City. Give thanks for the many and diverse waves of migrants who have come to these lands.
