- We pray for our congregation as we seek leaders for Oasis in 2014.
- We pray for our congregation as we ponder small groups as part of our life.
- We pray for our new Church Council as it serves the church throughout the coming year.
- We pray for our Minister Mark as he prepares for Advent and Christmas.

For our GUC Community:
- We pray for our minister Mark, that healing will continue since surgery and for peace and hop for him and his family.
- We pray for guidance for each of the teams that are preparing to lead us in worship in the next weeks.
- We pray for those among us who are considering who to nominate for Church Council, and those who will need to make decisions about accepting nomination, that God’s choice for this time will be clear.
- We pray for those among us who are homesick for a place and a community that they have left behind, that they will be comforted.
- We pray for our neighbours who come to the food pantry, that they will find friendship and hope there.

Welcome to Gungahlin Uniting Church
Gungahlin Uniting Church is a Christian Community for all people. All people irrespective of age, nationality, theology, tradition or way of life are welcome as we seek to nurture faith and be about the way of Christ. Each week we usually have morning tea in the middle of worship followed by Oasis for primary aged children and Billabong for our youth. In the main worship space after morning tea there are readings and a message and a time of prayer for others. This is the way we usually gather over any month…
- 1st. Sunday of the month
All age worship with morning tea in the middle followed by Oasis. Billabong meet as a group in the first half of worship. - 2nd. Sunday of the month
Worship all together with communion followed by morning tea and BBQ lunch. - 3rd. Sunday of the month
All age worship with morning tea in the middle followed by Oasis. Billabong meet as a group in the second half in the quiet room. - 4th. Sunday of the month
All age worship with morning tea in the middle followed by Oasis. Billabong meets with their mentors.
Prayer Points – 15 Sep 2013
For our GUC Community:
- We pray especially this week for the Palmer family; Christine and Damien, Timothy and Bethany. We pray for Bethany in her health and well-being needs and for Christine and Damien as they care for her and their family. We pray for John and Penny as they support them at this time and live away from home. We pray for peace, for strength and for health.
- We pray for our Minister Mark and his family, Peta-Gai, Rose-Mary and Wesley as Mark prepares for his surgery. We pray for peace and healing.
- We pray for other members of the congregation who have recently had surgery, who support others in need in their families, who live away from home and loved ones at this time.
- We pray for the congregation in its life, worship and mission over the coming months.
