First Sunday Converse and Café here at the church. This is a time of worship with a difference. A time of music to listen to, silence and prayer, faith conversation and community. Followed by a meal at a local café/restaurant for anyone who would like to come along.
All welcome!
The Advent singing group will commence rehearsals during the morning tea break on Sunday 5 November. We would welcome anyone who would like to sing with us this year – no experience is necessary.
If you are interested or have any questions please see Ngaire Hosking.
The Annual General Meeting for Gungahlin Uniting Church will take place after worship on Sunday- 5th November.
This is not so much a meeting, but an opportunity to consider our life and organisation as a church. This is the time when we elect those who will serve on our Church Council, which oversees the life of our congregation. This is the time when there can be open discussion about matters of our church life. This is a time to encourage your church just by being there and participating.
Please plan to attend.
In the past weeks we have retraced so many image rich stories, which are core for our religious memory.
The Exodus event gave birth to a nation which understood itself to be the People of God. It is this story which provided the backdrop for what became the second exodus where Jesus the Christ opens the way to a freedom for all of us, giving us our particular identity as the People of God who anticipate the new promised land of the Kingdom of God.
We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.
Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community. You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.
Every Sunday, 9:30am

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.
In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
We worship at the Gungahlin Uniting Church & Community Centre.
