Remember, although our church is in the town centre, it is also in the paddock! Be aware that our location is ideal for snakes. Please take care in the carpark and around the Food Pantry building.
Adults, please all take responsibility to check the playground before children go out to play!
Oasis is our primary aged children’s group that meets most Sundays after morning tea. The group has a leader and also a “helper” each week. Leaders and helpers are rostered on term by term about so that they also get an opportunity to be in worship.
Next term Lori Van Dore is the leader, but we still need a “helper”. If you would be interested or willing then please speak with Mark. All our Children’s Ministry leaders also need to have a Working With Vulnerable People Licence.
Lent is a time of 40 days before Easter and is part of the life of the church worldwide. In lent we reflect on the journey of Jesus towards the cross and it is a time for us to ponder our own faith journeys. Lent begins this year on Wednesday 1st March, which is called Ash Wednesday. On Ash Wednesday there will be a short gathering at 8pm here at the church for anyone who wants to come along. At this service we recall our own mortality as we start the journey with Christ towards the cross.
The First Gathering of Spice Kids for 2017 is happening Sunday – 12 noon at Ginger and Spice. Come and join with adult friends for good food and excellent conversation at our first get together for the year.
We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.
Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community. You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.
Every Sunday, 9:30am

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.
In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
We worship at the Gungahlin Uniting Church & Community Centre.
