Our Church at Prayer…

October 7, 2016 by Church Office

Inviting you to think about our own church community, the wider church, the world!

  • We pray for our children as they head back to school this week and for the teachers who have a busy term ahead.
  • This week we pray for Yarralumla Congregation. Praise God for the great work and community events that have happened recently and for the continuing work of programs like CEIS in schools, Thrifty Fifty Project and Messy Church.
  • This week we pray for Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. Pray for good relations between Muslims and Christians; for Christians who, although a tiny minority may have the courage to witness and find strength to live according to God’s word.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.

We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre
108 The Valley Avenue

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
