Girls’ Brigade

07/04/2018 by Girls Brigade Coordinator

Girls’ Brigade is growing. In the past 4 weeks we have had three new girls start. The new girls are all in our Juniors group (now 11 girls), and the group is now too large to have just one adult with them. We are in need of a helper or two who would be prepared to come every week or every couple of weeks to be with them.

Thank you very much to those who helped. The donations have gone to the Regional Secretary of Highlands Region of United Church for distribution.

Food Basket as part of our offering

07/04/2018 by Church Office

The congregation at Gungahlin Uniting has throughout its life had a basket where members can bring and leave food each week. Food that fills the basket is taken to our Food Pantry where customers come each week to get groceries. We bring the basket forward each week because the food we bring is part of our offering and part of our work as a church.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.

Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community.  You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.
