Advent Wreath

Each week in Advent we have an Advent Wreath with candles. If you would like to volunteer to prepare the greenery around the wreath for one week this Advent please see Alison Tweedie.

The candles are all provided as is the framework for the wreath.

Invitation to plan Advent Services

The Worship Team invites those interested to assist with planning our worship for this special season of the church year leading up to Christmas Day. Anyone may come, but if you are listed to be a worship leader, Bible Reader or to do the prayers for others we would appreciate your input if you are able to come.

Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades Presentation Night

This Wednesday, 22nd November, Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades will be celebrating the end of a remarkable year with their Presentation Night.

You are invited to join with them at 6.30pm. It will be a short evening of celebration, followed by supper.

WELL DONE GOOD, AND FAITHFUL SERVANT

Today’s parable of the talents again appears to turn things upside down. Being servants does not bring privilege, status or anything to glory in. Being servants means having responsibility. Those who do not share what they have been entrusted with are harshly admonished.

We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.

We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.

Light Rail
We are less than a 5 minute walk from the Gungahlin Place Light Rail Station.

The ACT has a number of bus options for people travelling around, or to Gungahlin. Timetables available here.
