Welcome to Gungahlin Uniting Church!
Over the next weeks, since it is school holidays, we will all worship together with Morning Tea served at the end! Today as well as morning tea we will have a light BBQ lunch! We hope you will stay and share in this time together.

Easter Worship – thanks
Thankyou to everyone who helped in many different ways to enable our Easter Worship to be so meaningful. Over Thursday night, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday, not only were their ‘friends and family’ who attended, but people from the general community came along too. This is what it means to be a Christian community at the heart of the wider community in which we live. May the Easter message continue to grow in us and through us as we live out the way of Christ.

Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent (This Wednesday 22nd.) Traditionally in the church, Ash Wednesday has been a day of reflection and confession as it begins the time before Easter when we remember Jesus drawing closer to his own death on the cross. On Ash Wednesday, at 10am., I will hold a meditative service with communion for anyone who would like to come along. Again, anyone can come along and is welcome! If you have any questions about Ash Wednesday or Lent please feel free to speak with me.

About GUC

We are a community on a journey. We’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving intergenerational and multicultural community located near the Gungahlin town centre.

Gungahlin Uniting Church is an open and inclusive community.  You are welcome to join us and participate in the life of our community as we experience life, God and seek to follow the way of Christ.
