Baptism of Ruby Tyson

November 23, 2018 by Church Office

This week we celebrate the baptism of Ruby Tyson with her parents,
William and Hannah and their family and friends.

We welcome you to this community and hope that your time with us is a blessed experience.

“Being baptised is simply a naming, an acknowledgement of someone’s existing belovedness” – Rachel Held Evans

Today we celebrate that we are each a beloved child of God.

Welcome

Greetings to the Gungahlin Uniting Church community

April 14, 2018 by Church Office

Worship and the message this week is brought to us by Darren. We give thanks for Darren’s ministry with us and pray for him as he settles into our busy congregational life and ministry.

As we move into school holidays we pray for families with children; for rest, quality time together and safety for those who are travelling.

Oasis for primary aged children is taking a break over the holidays and will resume on 6th May.

Everyone is welcome to Worship each Sunday at 9.30 am

About GUC

We are a community on a journey, we’ve grown from a small faith community planted in Ngunnawal in the early years of Gungahlin’s development to a thriving inclusive, intergenerational & multicultural community. As Gungahlin has grown we have seen a lot of change.

We are an open and inclusive community, everyone is welcome to use their gifts in worship, prayer, leadership, hospitality and teaching.

Worship With Us

Every Sunday, 9:30am
Gungahlin Uniting Church and Community Centre
108 The Valley Avenue
Gungahlin, ACT, 2913

Worship is for all ages, (0 to 93!) and seeks to be meaningful in different ways for us all.

In Jesus Christ we see how he drew near to each and all and so we hope our worship expresses this nearness too.
