Lynne Butson
Lynne shows great spiritual leadership when leading services, she is committed to the pastoral needs of the church. Lynne identifies ways to build community in the church. She has the gift of listening and is able to see points from both sides. Along with this, she has the gift of common sense and practicality in understanding the scope of a job and its expectations. She brings grace, care and excellent management skills.
Lynne is willing to serve on Church Council for 1 year.
Narelle Dodd
Narelle has the gift of leadership and can lead teams to get things done (eg.the Safe Church compliance, working bees). Narelle displays faithful service to both her faith and commitment to GUC. She is willing to struggle along with others to work out the best way forward. She has served in various roles and dependable and is a clear thinker and committed Christian. Narelle has vast church experience and is a great communicator.
Narelle is willing to serve on Church Council for 2 years.
Jemimah Hamilton (JJ)
JJ has wisdom of the church beyond her years. She would bring diversity to Church Council. Her greater gift is common sense and practicality. She is able to step back, ascertain what is really going on, and bring groups together. JJ has gifts in preaching, intelligence, and discernment, with connections to young adults in the congregation. JJ is thoughtful, well respected and a clear thinker. She has an outstanding ability to represent young people.
JJ is willing to serve on Church Council for 1 year.
Jenelle Martin
Jenelle has been a vital and effective chair of Church Council during a demanding time. She is clear, practical, efficient, caring and communicates well with the congregation She is very committed to GUCC. She shows compassion, common sense, patience, and grace. Jenelle has shown excellent ability to lead the council in the last year as well as ability to resolve issues in a gracious and positive way.

Elizabeth Phythian
Elizabeth is such a positive presence on Church Council. She is respected by the GUC community and is positive and upbeat, but above all, she is consistent and understanding in her approach towards others. Elizabeth is caring, has good communication skills, and is committed to building community. She has good connections with many people in the congregation including the young people in Billabong, Tea and Talk participants and the food pantry. Elizabeth brings experience, knowledge of the community and a pastoral heart.

Bruce Warren
Bruce is exceptionally humble in his commitment to God and GUC. As a long-term member of the congregation, he has an undeniable commitment to developing the faith of young people. He has great connection, commitment,and practical and organisational skills with mission through the Boys Brigade. Bruce has served in various roles and is dependable, a good listener and wise in thoughts.
